Meet the new guy! Haven't decided on a name yet, but he is a boy. I hope Hieba likes her new boyfriend. :D

After buying Hieba, we scoured area pet stores for more Strawberries with no luck. My husband was searching Craigslist and found an ad with a picture of a Strawberry. The ad was a month old, but we emailed anyway, and as luck would have it, she still had the crab!

She was asking $20 for the crab and setup but I told her I didn't need any more tanks so she gave him to me for no charge, happy he was going to a good home.

Although it did cost me about $10 in gas to go get the little guy. Heh.

Lucy is also growing like a little weed. We suspect she's between 3 1/2 to 4 feet in length. She'll continue to get longer but I think she's reached her full girth around her middle. Unless she plans on proving me wrong. Her head is still so little compared to the rest of her body. It's freaking adorable.

She'll be 3 years old in June.

My two little cresteds are growing! Weighed them on a whim the other day and they are up to 16 grams. I was just amazed since they don't look that much bigger from when I first brought them home (at 4 grams). And they are still a far cry from June and Mei's size.

They are still biters and living up to their vampire names. Andy won't hold them because of the nibbling. Alice latched on to my finger the other day and I was able to lift her into the air and she just shook her head and held on.

I love my little crazies. :D

Logan's been vomiting, making strange gutteral howls, and has been lethargic. :(

Kia on the other hand is eating again.

Basically she's off her feed. She's either got an upset tummy or she's just stubborn. Or both. Heh.

Past couple of weeks she's been sporadically urping up bile (usually mixed with grass) and half heartedly picking at her food. For the past two days, she's refused to eat all together. She's even refusing treats. Turns her nose up to the hard treats, spits out the soft treats. Refused cheese even. Andy offered a hot dog tonight and after 4 attempts she finally ate a piece, then spit out any other pieces offered. :(

She is drinking water though.

Good thoughts needed for my girl.

Had a candle burning near Nimrod's tank and he came out onto the branch to investigate. :D

I lost one of my hermit crabs today. :(

She'd been acting strange, keeping to herself and hardly moving.

Today she was out of her shell and within the hour, she was gone. :(

I can take some solace that she had a good life in the enviroment I provided vs. the store.

RIP little hermie.

Lucy Inara shed last night, so I took the opportunity to photograph her this afternoon while waiting for her food to defrost. :D

She's pushing 3 feet and getting stronger by the day. I especially love it when she squeezes me.
